After checking out several schools in the area, we decided on Sing in Chinese -- and we couldn't be happier! The immersion program is engaging and well-balanced, and the staff are strong communicators and easy to work with.
They share regular updates and photos, which help parents feel informed and reassured. The team also puts so much thought into events, making them fun for the kids and creating a strong sense of community for parents.
Most importantly, the teachers are incredibly loving, patient, and truly care about each child. They don't just teach language and academics -- they focus on helping kids build independence, confidence, and curiosity about the world.
Outside of school, my daughter loves singing the songs she has learned and enjoys using the learning app created by the founder, Lynn, and her team. I'm impressed by the team's passion for creating all the enriching resources, including Chinese songs and the learning app, to insightful blog articles on education. It's clear that they love what they do, and I know my daughter is in great hands. I highly recommend Sing in Chinese to any parent looking for a warm, caring school with an amazing team of dedicated teachers!

Best decision I've ever made for my son. I did a lot research before enrolling him. Sing in Chinese is the only one fits all my needs. All the teachers are nice, friendly and patient. He made great progress in mandarin. I’d like to recommend Sing to all the parents who live in this area.

Just an update after 4 months of sing in chinese- my almost 2 year old baby now can understand lots and lots of chinese, she has been saying random words and been trying to sing the songs she learned at school. She has become so polite and always sayinf thank you in chinese among otber words. So sweet. Learn so fast and so much. She is so excited to go to school everyday. Hope this school opens up more locations in the future.

My son Darien has been attending this school for almost a year. I have seen him grow into a confident loving boy. I highly recommend this school to all parents who want their kids to develop socially, behaviorally and academically! His mandarin is already better than his father’s! All of this is possible because of the unconditional love and care from the teachers!

This bilingual preschool has been a lifesaver for us first-time parents. The stress of finding a good school for your kid can keep you up at night. But when we found this preschool, it was like a huge weight was lifted off our shoulders.
Our little boy started at this preschool when he was just two years old. He's three now, and the transformation we've seen in him is nothing short of amazing. You wouldn't believe the nerves we had sent him off on his first day. But this school has been a true blessing.
The teachers here are some of the most caring people I've ever met. They've made it their mission to ensure that our son, and all the other kids, are learning in a safe, comfortable, and fun environment. I mean, it's just unbelievable how quickly our boy has adapted and how excited he is every morning to go to school.
And let's talk about the bilingual part. We wanted our son to learn Chinese, but we were clueless about how to go about it. But this kindergarten made it a piece of cake! The teachers use all sorts of fun and interactive ways to get the kids to learn Chinese and English side by side. Our boy is now talking and singing in Chinese, we couldn't be prouder.
This school is more than just a preschool to us, it's a community. It's a place where our son is learning about the world, about different cultures, and how to respect and appreciate the differences in people.
So, to all the staff at this fantastic preschool, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Your hard work, dedication, and love for what you do have made this journey a breeze for us. And most importantly, you've given our son an incredible start to his education.

My daughter enrolled in full day, 5 days a week, program started in September, 2022. She had surprised us with how quickly she learned to speak Mandarin to communicate to me, my wife, and her grandparents and the vocabulary she uses sometimes completely surprised us. The way the education program structured not only taught her the language but also singing, dancing, writing, and art as well as improved her social skill to play nice with others.
Teachers seems to care so much about the kids and have so much passion for teaching and caring for them. I've never seems my daughter talked about her teachers and eager to go to school to see her teachers and play with her friends. The Brightwheel application the school uses for instance communication with parents and the amount of effort teachers take to post the daily progress throughout the day was absolutely awesome and it meant a lot to all parents. It was absolutely joyful for parents to see how much funs the kids had for the day in real-time.
Thanks to my daughter's teacher, Hsiao Lu Laoshi, for taking care of the kids, spending the time and effort to send a very detailed weekly reports to inform parents on what the kids had learned for each week. Also really appreciate her and Miss Lynn for a very throughout progress report and discussion during our first parents/teachers conference. It was really helpful for us to understand her progress and the area where we could help to accelerate her learning and development.
Overall, we were glad that we enrolled her to build a great foundation for Mandarin learning. We'd seen great improvement within the past few months not only in speaking and learning Mandarin but also all aspect of her pre-school education and experience. Highly recommended for all parents who wants a similar great learning experience for their kids!

Looking for an immersion program with an excellent participatory and strong English pre-academic skills curriculum? Stop and look no further! As a former educator, District Administrator with background in supervising programs from infants through post high school, I can highly recommend this school.
We are extremely sad my grandson is moving out of the area and leaving this excellent school during the holidays! Max started in February 2022, one of 7 students, with no ability to speak Mandarin but he was able to converse with his father within a few months with perfect articulation. Don't worry about the English pre academic skills as everything is incorporated within the curriculum along with the immersion aspect.
Low student/teacher ratio along with daily hands-on and movement activities enables the young child to absorb concepts at their academic level through all their senses. This enables the brain to create strong pathways which develops stronger learning skills.
Kudos to Carol & Lynn Lousi for creating & expanding the wonderful preschool program. We will miss all the teachers who are so dedicated and all the kids along with their caring parents!
So stop reading and call the school to enroll. Act quickly as word is spreading and classes are getting full.
PS...They also have a huge after school program and a Saturday school. They will pick up at some elementary schools in PV & follow the PV school district calendar for vacations.

Excellent Chinese School! They make learning fun and natural using singing and play and the kids are placed based on level of ability vs just by age. We don't speak Chinese at home and our kids are still picking up the language. Our kids are enrolled in three 1-hr classes as part of Sing In Chinese's after-school program and homework club where they pick up the kids from their elementary school, feed them a snack, teach them Chinese, and help them with homework. Can you believe that... transportation, after-school childcare, homework help, AND LEARNING CHINESE all through this school! Lynn, the director, is incredible!!! She genuinely cares about all the kids and will really try to work with you to make your schedule fit. My kids' schedules are often hectic with different sports practices/games and she goes over and beyond to try and juggle the classes so my kids don't miss out. The entire staff is really talented as well as patient and kind. My kids love Ms. Carol. They have cute inside jokes and nicknames with her (in Chinese!) and really love learning from her. I can't say enough good things about the school. I'd give 10 stars if I could. Thanks to the whole staff at Sing In Chinese and especially to Lynn! You're helping to make a dream come true for me where my kids are going to be able to communicate and interact with their grandparents in Chinese!!!

This is my favorite school! The owner is passionate and gives every parent individual feedback and takes the time to make sure the classes are enjoyed by the children, in a way I have never experienced at any school. You periodically get a CD (written and sung by the owner) and colored storybook with a "theme" and my kids can't get enough of the songs, and perform them at home for us, and sing as we drive in the car. The kids learn language through song, props and games during class, which makes the school unique, whimsical and fun, and what better way to make learning a language fun. My husband and I have no Chinese background, nor understanding of the language, and feel that, in this global world, for a child to learn to speak Chinese at an early age is the best early education we can give our kids. This school is unprecedented!

My daughter attends this school. It has worked wonders in terms of encouraging her to learn mandarin Chinese. The school makes it really fun for the kids to learn and interact in Chinese. The principal and teachers are all so wonderful and caring. They understand that this is the very first preschool for some of the students. The music is great and catchy so much so that I find myself singing the tunes. The inside of the school is so clean, warm and inviting, a safe place for kids to learn. Its a great school.
